Po Delta Bianchetto Truffle

The alluvial lands of the Po Delta (Donada pinewood, Pannarella Nature Sanctuary, and Santa Maria alluvial area) have always been interesting areas for truffle searchers. Here it is possible to find a light-color truffle, called Bianchetto.
Today, the diffusion of this very precious product is entrusted to the Regional Forest Service of Padova and Rovigo, managing for about fifteen years the Truffle Growing Experimental Center with the aim to promote the use of small mycorrhized plants in the reforestation activities and the creation of truffle fields.
